The company is primarily engaged in the manufacture and sale of speed reducers (its standard product) in Spain and internationally. With registered head office and production facility located in Sant Fruitós de Bages, Spain, the company was founded in 1918, originating as a family business under Josep Pujol Muntalà (grandfather of the present MD) and engaged initially in the repair of textile machinery. The company is Spain's largest manufacturer of industrial gear units and associated products. It supplies speed gear reducers for industry in general, drives for garage doors and speed multipliers for wind energy. The company occupies a surface area of 16,000 m2 in three production plants.
